Serious Sam 4 confirmed to be in development right now

Uhhhh yes, that is awesome! I love the whole SAM series, and SS3 on Linux was top notch performance wise for such amazing graphics. Took me like 20 hours to complete the campaign solo on second highest difficulty. Tried some levels in coop, and boy this is fun as hell. I fondly remember the level where you first get the Chaingun. Anyone who ever played a SS title can relate to what happened then. Over 1000 Enemies in 5 Minutes, this is pure FPS madness :D
Insta-Buy for me!

AMD Polaris graphics cards are starting to sound pretty amazing

It is good to see, that AMD is putting in more and more effort, on CPU and GPU side. Intel and NVidia need some more competition, so all stay more innovative and reasonable about pricing. We as users (regardless of what we buy) can only benefit from that.
I upgraded my rig one and a half year ago, so no upgrade in the near future. But maybe in a year or so I want to upgrade my GPU. If Polaris is ready on time and has good FOSS Drivers, I will seriously consider them.

I have finally found a way to sort out screen tearing on Nvidia with Linux

Thanks a lot Liam, I was struggeling with this myself since I bought my GTX970 last year, and boy this works. Tested Borderlands 2, Bioshock Infinite and Metro Last Light, with this script, the tearing is gone.
I think you just earned yourself a new patreon ;)
But excuse me now, I have to switch to my Win7 partition and pre-load DOOM. See you in Hell! :D

The Humble Devolver Bundle has a few decent Linux games for cheap

As I own nothing of this bundle, and I still have leftover paypal funds from a recent refund, I threw in 5€ for the average bundle . That's pretty awesome for 5+ Linux games so to speak. And the pile of shame grows :D

Linux now has 2,000 games on Steam, big milestone

2.000 games, this is amazing. And yes, we need more day-1 releases, this is true.
And yes, I am also missing WoW (although working mostly good with Wine) and Blizzard games in general on Linux. But this won't change in the future sadly.

Looks like Darkest Dungeon may finally release for Linux next week

The newest Worms game Worms W.M.D is confirmed to be coming to Linux

Ah Worms, this brings back fond memories of LAN Parties playing Worms World Party with 5 friends at one PC for days and nights to come while getting totally wasted :D
2D Handpainted, with hopefully day-1 Linux support, there is only one thing to say: Shut up and take my money :D

Serious Engine 1 Linux source code is coming

Very nice of Croteam, this is why I buy their linux games.
Does this actually mean we can play Serious Sam First & Second Encounter natively on Linux?
I own both for Windows on Steam, so assets are there, I just need a Linux executable ;)

AMD could be back in the CPU performance game with Zen
14 Mar 2016 at 1:13 pm UTC Likes: 1

I really hope for AMD that they really pull out something very good. I always loved these guys, and their recent openness and dedication to FOSS just makes me wanna support these guys. But as they still can't deliver the same experience than Intel+NVidia my choice remains settled.
Maybe this will change with ZEN and beyond

I will buy it as soon as it is released. I was waiting for the port since the first sign of this game, I adore Lovecraft Horror, so a must buy for me :D
