Had a quick look around on the live usb - seems pretty solid so far. Will wait a few days with the update to see if anything comes up, but I like what I see here.

The first Tallowmere was also part of the "Bundle for Racial Justice and Equality" on itch.io - so if you happened to have supported that you can pass the time until the release of Tallowmere 2 by having a look at the the previous title.

Cool! I like the tech and I love to use it, but if they do not finally fix the annoying re-download of shader cashes every time I start up steam for good, I will not use it ever again! ...probably! ...at least for a day ...or two! :P

You are running multiple monitors, right? SR: Hong Kong seems to be quite bad at detecting resolutions even with one monitor. Have you tried adding '-show-screen-selector' to your launch options in steam and selecting the correct resolution manually?
If that does not help GoG lists quite a few 32-bit dependencies in the system-requirements for the game. Might be worth a look if you have them on the new system, though one might assume that steam would have you covered there.

Find libraryroot.css and have a look in there - you might be surprised what can be done in combination with a little -noverifyfiles added to the launcher.
