Huh, the AMD thing sounds very interesting. They are combining the closed source and open source drivers into one package?

It's an interesting game. Absolutely worth checking it!

I'm rather confused by this. The license is, well, nonexistent. This means that, depending on country, you have no legal right to use the source code. Calling it public domain would be better, or just picking a well used license...

It's weird and I do not understand it.

They also don't link to the source from their webpage at all, to what I can see, which makes this even weirder.

It does look like a fun game to give a go though!

EDIT: Please note, I'm not a lawyer and I have no wish to be either. So everything I said might be wrong.
EDIT2: The github repository seems to only have build notes for the editor and server, not for the client itself. I'm so confused.

Unique puzzle experience 'We Were Here Too' will make you shout at your friends

Actually, @SadL. The puzzles are randomized to some degree, so it's worth playing through it at least once on each side and then one more time for the full good ending :) For the price, that's some solid fun!

Quoting: EikeThere's a free predecessor [External Link] as well.

Did anybody try playing one of these with a Windows system on the other side?
Sadly we were here, the predecessor, doesn't work at all as advertised on linux. It's essentially unplayable.
Aside from the standard unity fullscreen bug, this specific issue made it impossible to enjoy:
To get in-game and get around the "skip-problem" you have to place the cursor at the place where the "SKIP"-button would appear
You have to perform this step during the loading screen, because afterwards the game won't recognise the cursor due to the bug of the bad unity port
Now you can play, but if you die, you can't click the "RETURN TO LAST CHECKPOINT" button...
We Were Here Too, however, works as expected :D

Total War Saga: Thrones of Britannia confirmed for Linux, from Feral Interactive

Quoting: noxSo many strategy games :(
So what? It is may favourite genre. So I would like to see more strategy games on Linux. MORE I say! :D
Ahh! If it's you favorite genre, that changes everything of course...!

No, seriously... As said, I'm happy that Total War seems to be profitable for Feral, as long as they also port something that I enjoy from time to time. But "So what" doesn't help anybody.
To be fair, what I said doesn't help anybody either. I would just like to see more non-racing and non-strategy games :P I like racing and strategy but I have more than enough now!

Can you hear that? It's the Steam sales train and it's arrived, also Steam Wishlist revamp
16 Feb 2018 at 12:20 am UTC

Quoting: EhvisThe new wishlist is functionally good, but I would have preferred the items to be a bit smaller.
Holy shit, yes.

Feels like it's not scaled right at all at 1080p :P

It's time to bug Feral Interactive about future port requests once again

I just really want a high quality standard MMO on our platform :( We do have Albion and a few others, but none of them fill the gaps left from games like SWTOR, WoW, Rift and FFXIV.

I realize that porting an MMO would be a large undertaking, but I'm allowed to dream, yeah? :D

Realistic racing game 'DRAG' coming to Linux soon, built on Linux and it looks astonishing

Quoting: noxLooks very interesting, but the gifs are now constantly stopping to buffer (even after playing once). Something is weird with them. (tried in private mode too, same thing - maybe even slightly worse)
You need to click to play them now, or is this after you click? Works fine for me even on mobile.
After click. I'm okay with gifs buffering, but they don't seem to cache after buffering. It's strange, but if I'm the only one then we'll just blame something on my end :)
