This game has to bring some new stuff to the table. Otherwise, I don't see how this came could be superior to popular games like Stellaris. It even uses Hyperlanes, which were not well-received by Stellaris fans. Nevertheless, it's good to see new games being released on Linux.

Want to make an RPG game? Looks like RPG Maker MV may be coming to Linux

Linux is forging it's way into the industry very fast, and now is the time to go into the indie game development market. Unity has ported it's IDE into the Linux, so has Unreal Engine. Now we have RPG Maker (I hope). These seemingly small steps will definitely have huge impacts on users who were hesitating to try Linux.
