Surely allowing EAC and then leaving the rest to Proton is an option akin to all the other Windows games that aren't blocked due to anticheat. By not taking the EAC step they're blocking it outright.

Quoting: Liam DaweTo fully support it on Linux sure but they don't have to take it that far. I was referring to the article:Quoting: libgradevNot that I care for this game personally but what development work?! Isn't the whole point that devs don't have to do the heavy lifting Proton does... or are they just saying they cannot be bothered to toggle EAC support onThis has been discussed before, and it's just like telling developers to "export to Linux" without doing any testing, it's not going to be great. For EAC, developers first need to go and upgrade the Epic SDK used, which means it also then needs testing again on their main platform. Then it needs testing on Linux, to make sure it works and continues working with Proton.
Things are rarely a button to hit and be done with it.
the developer will not be enabling support for it in EAC....

Please understand however that we would still need to do quite a bit of development work to properly support LinuxNot that I care for this game personally but what development work?! Quoting: Perkeleen_VittupääI for one would have bought likely hundreds of games if GOG would have provided that Galaxy client for Linux (https://www.gog.com/wishlist/galaxy/release_gog_galaxy_20_for_linux)... Now every penny has gone to GabeN and Steam :woot:Yeah, I love the idea of GoG but I'm finding it a harder and harder sell these days... I'm of a mind now to get everything on Steam and just grab the game again on GoG as a backup when dirt cheap.

Quoting: GuppyI stopped using in home streaming all together because so many games just cast audio and a black screen, hopefully this will solve the issue :DI've seen this streaming to my phone - watch the resolution on the host PC (switched mine down to 1440p and got video).

The only thing that did, as mentioned earlier, was disabling local audio on the host.

Quoting: sebastianlacuestaI've stopped using IHS at the moment but switching to Pipewire at the time (~6 months ago) didn't fix this issue.Quoting: MohandevirIs Pipewire the solution to the long standing audio degradation issue with PulseAudio, when it comes to in-home streaming from a Linux host?Three simple words:
I have to disable all HDMI audio devices in Pavucontrol of the host computer to prevent that from happening.
Yes it is!
I just removed it in debian in favor of pipewire-pulse. Done replacement fake pulse audio packages with equivs to solve dependency problems and bye bye pulse audio crackling system
