And, to be fair, I don't think either of those games fit the Action RPG mold very well either. I do understand your frustration - I am first and foremost a fan of Strategy games but I have loathed every single real-time strategy I have ever played so to see even classic turn-based series like Master of Orion jump to real-time combat disheartens me.

Your perception is biased. My perception, which is also biased, is that the only two RPGs I have played in the past few years are PoE and Tyranny, neither of which are turn-based.

This has been on my wishlist since day one, so I went ahead and took the plunge and bought it. I won't have a chance to play until I get back from my weeklong math conference though so hopefully they have the "can't play" issue sorted by then.
PAYDAY 2 is currently free for the first 5 million people who grab it on Steam

I've read that the single player is awful and the level of toxicity that I have encountered in every single multiplayer game I have ever tried has guaranteed that I only play single player games anymore. I think this is a cool offer but I will be passing for that reason.

I've been on Steam for, I think, 8 years now. I still don't know what a "Curator" is or what it does.

I do not understand the aversion towards asking for something that you want.

This is the first time since my switch to Linux that I am starting to see the "toxic elitism" that Windows users always accuse us of exhibiting. Shame on you. If you don't want the game, ignore it. If you do, saying so won't hurt anything.
