It's likely you're using Nvidia drivers which have a bug needing you to downgrade the drivers to an older stable branch that don't experience the performance issue. 381.22 and newer has a performance issue that the older drivers don't experience.

Ouch, looks like Morrowind with better character models...

I'm ok with retro graphics, but this just looks cheap :o .

I played both Blade of Destiny and the original Star Trail. Oh, character creation, they don't make things this way anymore (unless it's a RoA remake ;) ). I was a fan to the extent that I was learning German by reading "Und Altaia brannte" - a novel set in the Schwarze Auge setting.

So, after a thought, I might actually buy it :)

I feel slightly disappointed with the progress of Linux gaming. On one hand, I have 75+ Linux games on my wishlist (and it seems to grow). On the other hand, I have a Windows partition anyway for legacy games I already own, so is no Tux-no bux policy just an empty gesture in my case? Will the fact I'm not playing the Witcher 3, StarCraft 2, Doom 2016, Dishonoured 2 or Train Sim World change anything?

I have finally tried VR and I want it. I don't expect any major VR titles to arrive to Linux anytime soon, so that's another sacrifice...

Ok, so I tried to play The Longest Journey and it starts way too slow for me. Sure, the prologue was nice, but trying to get to school, having no money for subway and needing to collect overdue wages?

Will it get any better soon?

(For reference, I enjoyed Syberia, absolutely loved The Book of Unwritten Tales and liked a few other point'n'click games).

I'm terribly disappointed with quality of ARK on Linux and 7D2D looks awesome, but similar? The main appeal of ARK is not the survival part but dinosaurs, especially taming them.

Could you specify what definition? Where exactly did you get that info from? There are many [External Link] different [External Link] definitions [External Link] of Western Europe [External Link], and I cannot find what definition does Valve use. Or what is their definition of “Russian Territory” for that matter (is that European Russia? Are those former Soviet Republics of USSR, including Ukraine, Belarus, Lithuania, Latvia?). Also I see they used to use the term ‘Eastern Europe’ in 2014 [External Link] which is not listed in the newer charts in the article we’re commenting under.

Aren't these Steam pricing regions? I know that e.g. Poland now has the same prices as the rest of EU, so I'd say Poland is in the Western Europe pricing region. Perhaps the old Eastern Europe region got merged with Western Europe a while ago and all "new EU member states" were moved to the Western Europe region.

I bought a key for Dishonored at one of reseller outlets and it is now in my library as Dishonored RU, so probably the key was for the Russian pricing region, where prices are lower. Surprising I could add it to my library. I don't know if Ukraine, Belarus or Moldova have Russian prices or Western European prices, but I'd expect our Ukrainian friends to be pissed off at Valve if they are a part of "Russian Territories" :)
