The 'Razer DeathAdder Chroma' is quite possibly the nicest mouse I've ever owned

Quoting: rudzhaYou did some research before your purchase, right?
I'm looking for a new Linux "gaming" mouse, because my Saitek/Mad Catz R.A.T. 7 is falling apart.
Can you suggest any other brands and mice that work well with Linux and/or have Linux support?
I own a Steelseries Rival 700 and a Roccat Lua. Especially the Rival is great device, would never give it back. In general both brands have pretty good Linux support and imho a better build quality.

Stellaris: Utopia, the first major expansion is now up for pre-order

Quoting: TcheyEven now with several patch, i feel the game is quickly empty. I played a few games, only one to "completion", and then i thought "why should i play again ?". Maybe this first expansion will change my mind.
Had the same feeling when I played several matches with the latest patch. Too generic, too dump sector ai, too less late-game.
I got all the other DLCs as I really like the game. I believe I will also get that.
Nevertheless I have the feeling that during game development the whole concept was not worked out properly. That's why a lot of content is missing.

I recently discovered the Star Trek conversion mod. Looks so great.

You should use the first one, which is an "official" PPA run by Ubuntu developers.
Second one is yet-another-user-who-created-a-ppa PPA.

Quoting: buenaventuraI so want this! I just wish I had a demo so that I could try the performance of my roughly minimum-spec laptop.
Afaik, it's based on the source engine. Maybe you got Insurgency or CS:Go and try them.
Or you refund if it's not working out.

Thoughts on 'Stellaris' with the 'Leviathans Story Pack' and latest patch, a better game that still needs work
27 Oct 2016 at 8:45 pm UTC

Stellaris is a nice game but a lot of areas need some polishing.
Heinlein improved a lot areas, unfortunately a lot of things broke with the new patch. They really need to improve their QA.
The good thing is, the game has a long way to go and developers are dedicated to it as long as they make money with DLCs.

It's good to finally see some wine ports for the good old games.
Now please bring up Jagged Alliance 2 Gold.

Quoting: JahimselfWhat is the difference between jagged alliance 2, and jagged alliance 2 wildfire?
New mercenaries, new maps, new game mechanics (like enemies are harder to kill) and items (like weapons etc.).
