Dead Island Definitive Edition and Dead Island Riptide: Definitive Edition released, seem to have hidden Linux versions

The mouse lag in the menu in my experience (Dying Light does this for me also) is caused by vsync. Disabling vsync makes the menu issue disappear.

As far as not being supported. I think they may be waiting to work out potential bugs before declaring official support. They got hit somewhat hard on both Dead Island and Dying Light initially (performance issues). There is also the issue of multiplayer functionality. It would be nice if they dealt with that.

For those of you who have preloaded it, can you browse local files and see any linux specific files (executables, game related .so files)?

I've been wondering what Aspyr is up to. Wasn't really interested in Layers of Fear. They've had a pretty long break since all the work on Borderlands,Civ 5 and KOTOR II. Meanwhile Feral and Virtual Programming have been spitting Linux ports out like crazy.

Looks like both Dead Island Definitive Edition and Dead Island Riptide Definitive Edition are coming to Linux & SteamOS

I appear to be a freak for liking Dead Island more than Dying Light, eager for the Riptide release.

Quoting: dubigrasuConsider using a CSMT Wine for this game, as it can offer a greater performance (compared with the stable version they're using):

Have you informed the developer of the performance difference with the version of WINE you used?

This post keeps tricking me. I keep seeing this and my brain thinks, yay day one support. Then I realize it is; one day. My bad.

I get missing executable also. I entered the beta code, which validated, and selected the beta. The download was 0 bytes though. I imagine it will start updating at some point and download the files.
