hmm, it's a shame, looked interesting. but all this talk about broken promises seems a bit odd, because doesn't it quite clearly state in the "promises" that they MAY do a linux/mac versions but are NOT making any promises yet.. ?

or am I reading it wrong? ... just wondering..

A small tip for anyone working with Kdenlive and large video files
24 Feb 2017 at 7:04 pm UTC

Quoting: artvandelay440I watched someone use Blender to edit 4 hours of Blu-Ray content, and it performed perfectly fine, so should be no problem there.
sure. it also has proxies if you need them.. I've been using both forever, (over 10 years or so) and never had real problem with speed.. so these files mentioned here has to be very big..

actually, only time I had real problem with speed in kdenlive was some years ago when I was editing stuff that were in some AVCHD format, MTS I think.. it was slow there, and buggy for scrubbing so I just converted them.. later on the versions Kdenlive fixed those problems and I was able to edit them straight..

anyways, cool bit of news, I kind of knew about proxies.. never had a chance to use them yet tho...times are changing, maybe I have to start shooting/rendering with 4K like the rest of the people.

any tips how to get it working? (in addition to the installation instructions on the archive)

best audio? hmm ok.. why not on other lists?
it's one of the games I've played the most, but not for audio for sure.. :)

It wasn't nominated for any other category by anyone, we had the page open for nominations for ~1 week.

Rocket League gets a big update called ‘Starbase ARC’, adds a lot of new free goodies

Quoting: FredOFrom a quick test I can say that they "may" finally have fixed the random crash when entering a new offline match. Also I can use the Pillars arena for the first time ever without it crashing. Can anyone else confirm this? There's no mention of Linux specific fixes in the release notes..
i was wondering about this too.. no crashes here either yet..

i would also like to see them fixing the bug with two player playing on one machine.. if I just plug on controller for second player, it still does not show up.. I have to run wejoy to create virtual controller before plugging in the controller for it to be seen in the game... hmm..
