if only more game companies were like SCS! They've developed Linux versions in parallel from the start, even if they weren't released. Much respect.

How did you find development on Ubuntu/Linux? Surprisingly pleasant, or maybe there were a few things your devs had to learn/get used to?
Also, why Linux before Mac? (not that I'm complaining ;) )

And I just want to say thank you again for supporting Linux!

Can't wait!

Great game to have on Linux and I reckon I'll sink quite a few hours into it.

And yeah, those moaners in the comments section are both hilarious and sad at the same time. Because their running their Windows machine probably bought by mummy and never pay attention to anything else they only care about their patches...

+1, I bought and played it yesterday, it's a great little game.

Can't wait for part 2. Also ran flawlessly on my Arch box.

Blizzard apparently bringing a game to Linux this year

Interesting stuff.

Well Valve's numbers are already pretty impressive to me. Ubuntu in the Valve hardware survey is almost 1% and that (I imagine) doesn't even take into account non-Ubuntu Linux distros which I'm guessing comes under "Other" so the percentage could even be slightly higher overall. May not sound like much but consider Mac OS overall is a bit over 3% or something... and the Linux client is still in beta. It's promising.

I guess Blizzard is considering testing the waters for these reasons, though it's a pity they have their own DRM and nothing to do with Steam.

THQ looking at possible Linux ports

^ Okay, well that does seem more promising. Whilst I won't get my hopes up, it's great Rubin is actually taking notice and considering it. That's way more than a lot of others do when it comes to commercial stuff on Linux.
