Steam creates a bad habit in their users, me for example, I wait a price drop for at least 40% of the full price...

What have you been playing and what do you think?

On Linux I'm playing Jedi Knight Jedi Outcast, but what I'm playing the most is the Metroid Prime series on Wii, what a masterpiece!

Quoting: Sir_DiealotNo Xbox 360 controller support?
Doesn't Xbox360 controller support come as standard for most Linux Distros these days?
I bought an Xinput controller and I had to spend hours to configure it with xboxdrv anyway. I don’t know what SC Controller is for, but if it helps with that configuration… great! (I didn’t notice that it was using Gtk3…)
Exactly, xboxdrv is hell to set up. The stock kernel driver (xpad) is simpler, but doesn't work correctly with most games. The modified one by steam (steamos-xpad) seems to work better. And it gets a hell of a lot more complicated with wine games.
Why do gamepads have to be such a pain in the ass?
Oh man, thank you so much!
Mostly of unity games doesn't recognize correctly my x360 controller, I installed the steamos-xpad and now it's working...

Why this isn't on mainline kernel?

Digging for riches and falling onto spikes in SteamWorld Dig 2, now available for Linux

I already put it on my wishlist!

I love steamworld 1. In my first gameplay, I found it boring, but I didn't notice that has passed many hours. Some days after, I came back and I got addicted.

The Frostbite engine apparently has partial Linux support but that doesn’t mean we’ll get ports anytime soon

Quoting: PlintslîchoI don't want to sound rude but a genuine question: why are you using Linux then? Wouldn't it be easier to simply run Windows, where all the cool game are anyway?

I don't want to sound rude but...

I hate people like you, that's one of reasons that I prefer stay away of discussions on linux sub-reddit. This idea of "ew, if you like proprietary software, you must use Windows instead" doesn't make any sense.

-Linux can be very optimized on every hardware
-Linux is more secure
-Linux has a lot of customizations
-Windows is very expensive

You should learn what is freedom in first place, this is what Linux represent. If he doesn't cares about DRM, it's his choice.

It's funny how a interesting/good news are so unwelcome. EA even with their flaws, are one of the biggest developers actually: FIFA is one of the best sport game, BF is one of the best multiplayer FPS, NFS Payback looks great...

We need to support any movement in your favour.

Minecraft: Story Mode for Linux never got released, even though it was “ready”

Maybe Season 1 works well today, I don't test it yet in wine.
Ah okay, didn't test Minecraft Storymode, but e.g. The Walking Dead works perfectly with wine (platinum rating).
TWD Season 3 doesn't launch too...

I enjoyed a lot the first one, but unfortunately -for some reason- doesn't work on Linux (steam version).

But as someone commented on Youtube, this looks like a cheap mobile endless runner.

Surprise, F1 2017 for Linux appears on SteamDB

Codemasters create great games, I LOVE GRID 1 (it's my favorite race game ever), GRID 3 is ok, Dirt 2 was awesome, and I enjoyed F1 Race Stars. But I'm not a huge fan of their simulators (Dirt Rally was frustrating to me, and my cpu sucks in Open GL).

I want to support Feral, but I would be happier with Dirt 4...
