This. I hate most indies as much as i love linux. While consoles mostly have rich titles, we have those overpriced hipster pixels and cringe survivals. Marketing should go on extreme here, and not so gamer-oriented at first, devs should be the first priority and real money should be spent on exclusives imho.

I think releasing source is much better then official port.
first, you get to polish it for as long as you want
second, you can have android version :D
thrid, remember berserker quake2, quake 2 evolved, tenebrae, darkplaces? well, I can imagine that at least one enhancement like this (might be vulkan) will land here too.
