Valve said they couldn't provide me a unit
That is strange.

Yes, it's streaming only.

And well, the quality seems fine to me. Here you can check out the image quality and see the bitrates:

Btw, despite what it says the audio track is thankfully Japanese.

Admittedly, 200 kbps for audio does seem a bit low, unless it is vorbis or an equally good codec.

Quoting: ShmerlRegarding space. Why are they using WAV for audio? That's really wasteful.
No loss of quality, no decompression overhead, potentially reduced latency as the result.

It comes down to one's priorities of course, but I think it's a valid choice and no more of a waste than not using JPEG compression for textures for example.

Quoting: NanobangI'm someone who creates custom configurations for all my games, so I feel fairly comfortable saying that I know my way around Steam's config tool, and more and more I find myself wanting to do something that I can only do on SC-CONTROLLER.
Can you give some examples of such things?

Planescape: Torment: Enhanced Edition officially announced with Linux support

Quoting: Geppeto35Don't know why, I never succeeded to enjoy the first 30 min while I love and enjoy multiple times BG and Fallout 1&2... I know lot of people love this game. Did I miss something? The remaining of the game is identical to those 30 min?
I own the game on gog and may give a try to this enhanced edition.
I mean you don't get to see the most amazing stuff about the game in the first 30 minutes, but at the same time I think it's safe to say that if you didn't enjoy the first 30 minutes you won't enjoy the rest.

It looks like we may be getting a Planescape Torment Enhanced Edition

Quoting: Mountain ManGoG has had a Linux version of Planescape Torment for some time. It's a Wine wrapper, but it works perfectly.
Couldn't you technically install it with GOG installer and then load the files into GemRB ?
Yes you can.
