I wasn't aiming for 100% completion though so I presume there could be issues I never ran into.
Played great with my Steam Controller.

Quoting: DuncLego Star Wars: The Complete Saga works, apparently (I started this comment thinking, “I'm sure it must, since Lego Batman does”, then realised I could go and check on the Wine AppDB and ProtonDB. D'oh!). Definitely my favourite Star Wars game. Although, to be fair, I've never played KoTR and the sit-down version of the arcade game runs it a very close second.I played it through a couple of months ago and didn't have any issues. I was never able to finish on my console because one of the kids would walk by and say "ooh, can I play?"...

So far it's been brilliant! I'm maybe 1/3 through the game, I really want to see the Xen levels.
The only bug I've run into is a green dot that moved around the screen with me. A reload fixed it.

The Dead Island series was frustrating for me because there was no way to clear an area. Zombies would always re-spawn, even the "bosses". You also couldn't climb on or over obvious things. It is for all these reasons and more I absolutely adore Dying Light. I did still play through Dead Island a couple of times. I'm a sucker for a zombie game.

I don't know if this is new or not but I noticed that Humble is offering the Far Cry series as Uplay games and not Steam.

Odd, I've put 40+ hours into Fallout 4 over the last couple of weeks and haven't had any issues at all with Proton 4.11 and the 440.36 driver, at least beyond the usual hangs on exit. The only customization I did was to use protontricks to add a DLL override for xaudio 2.7 (which I should have done using env variables, meh).

Welcome to open source. Sometimes it's rougher than others. Given the cost I fail to understand your bitterness.
That said, you might want to try the related package https://github.com/gfduszynski/cm-rgb [External Link] instead. The relationship between the two isn't clear to me (I take that the wraith guy learned a few things) but cm-rgb is pure python and iirc installable with pip.

Now I need to figure out what I did with that micro cable to connect the CPU to USB. My thoughts at the time of install were "I have no way to control the lights so why would I use these things..."

Sadly it won't install for me. It will only download the shader cache and not the game.
