That is a step in the right direction, I really like that!

However, I think the survey will have to be also available for people who do not login to GOL, otherwise less people will take it.

I only hope that my answers will not be available publicly on my profile :)

itch.io is completely DRM-free, the client app they wanted to add is 100% optional but it is useful for downloading your games :)

Afaik you can also use the Steam Controller with non-Steam games if you add them to your client and run in Big Picture Mode, but not sure since I didn't try that by myself.

The game has problem with the Direct3D rendering mode even on Windows. Try software rendering. The game won't look much more uglier, but it should run fine.

It isn't as much complicated as JA2, but it has quite entertaining setting and plot :)
Banished Linux port is pretty much complete, OpenGL performing well
