Like in 2015, still lots of DOTA and lots of Insurgency. Recently picked up the great adventure game named The Raven, by KingArt studio.

The open source Itch games store app needs translators

One reason I used to love Desura so much was their open source app, although that turned sour due to licensing changes for contributors, and now Desura is bankrupt so Itch.io is now my favourite smaller store.
I can also recommend IndieGameStand, no desktop client, but a nice alternative supporting Linux from the very beginning.

That said, I like itch.io as well :)

A KDE developer has thoughts on changing how Linux games work

Correct me if I remember this wrong, but SDL2 basically handles all fullscreen games like a borderless window, by default. This is one of the reasons we have so few alt+tab/workspace issues. I tend to hear a lot of Windows gamer/enthusiasts much prefer this setting. I can see why.

This is great when you are convincing switchers if you ask me.
Yes, that is correct :)

Hybrid Beasts, a quality looking turn-based action game like Worms coming to Linux

Since I can play Worms Reloaded (from original Worms series) and/or Hedgewars (the best Worms clone available), which are both pretty good, I don't think this game has anything new to offer...

Batman: Arkham Knight Will Be Available On Linux And SteamOS In Spring 2016

Quoting: Keizgon
Quoting: maodzedunI hope they port the previous games as well - Arkham City is effing amazing.
Which makes me wonder why they (Feral [External Link] and Aspyr [External Link]) haven't ported their Mac catalog over?

Though, I'm not complaining. They're doing pretty well as is with newer titles.
Porting their Mac catalogue to Linux would require refreshing (extending to Linux) the deal with the original publisher and putting some extra work into it. My guess is that releasing a new game for both Mac and Linux is usually just more profitable than doing it for Linux only. And they have limited recources considered Steam Machines being around the corner etc.
