Really, it doesn't matter too much which distro is being used, as Valve has made accommodations for more universal Linux support with the Steam Runtime to begin with. I doubt that the HTC Vive will have much(if any) distro-specific issues when support for it releases.
Shadow Warrior 2 should still be coming to Linux after all, was a miscommunication

Quoting: EhvisColour me not surprised. And excited. I may use this weekend to finally play through the first (well, the remake) one. I only played for about an hour when I first got it.Go for it, it's a great game if you like the style of old-school games like Doom or Duke Nukem.

Quoting: MaCroX95Wow, I was really starting to get concerned what is going on with their Linux support for VR, seems like Valve will never forget about Linux, they are making it stronger gaming platform slowly but surely :)Honestly, though, slowly is the best way in my opinion. Although, I definitely am awaiting the day when AAA devs make Linux ports themselves, instead of only outsourcing porting teams(don't get me wrong, I appreciate what Feral and the like are doing, but it's probably bad for only a handful of teams to be responsible for too many games).

Also, while in that fullscreen window, Alt+F4 and Alt-Tab commands and the like don't seem to work. The only way to quit the game is via Ctrl+Q or Alt+X, which gave me some confusion at first.

Quoting: hardpenguinI had no problems starting it on Arch Linux. However, it went into a fullscreen mode with a 1:1 pixel ratio, making the actual viewable area for the game pretty tiny at only a 320x200 area of my screen. It uses Adventure Game Studio and sadly I have been unable to get it to run, let me know in the comments if you have more luck than I do. Would love to give this one a little run as a fan. What problems did you encounter? The game starts ok for me on Ubuntu 14.04.

Can't wait for this to release, I really enjoy old N64 Rare games.
That being said, now I want to continue playing some DK64.

Quoting: ShmerlI wonder how they count sales or downloads per platform. Does GOG provide them with such info?Well, on Steam, a purchase is counted for a platform depending on what platform the user plays the game most on in the first week after purchasing. If the game is not played during that time, it defaults to the platform in which the game was purchased from.

A tip to help you out: You can use the X button(or Square on a PlayStation controller) to drift. Drifting is extremely useful for quickly positioning yourself and would have saved you on multiple occasions in that match.
Also, doing front flips can help get you across the map faster without boosting.
