Quoting: ageresSupraland. A 3D platformer with nice visuals, graphics and gameplay and tons of secrets. I like it very much so far. There is a demo on Steam, you should try it. It performs poorly though, about 50 fps with crashes every few minutes.
Performance is indeed poor, but I love that game. Even 100%ed it. Turning the shadows down helped my getting somewhat acceptable performance.

Outside of the regular 7 Days to Die, I've been building stuff in Planet Nomads. The survival stuff is rather easy now. The story bits are ok, but the most interesting part is still building crazy things.

I also started in The Longing. Good atmosphere, but obviously not a whole lot that can be said at this point.

I really need to go on a Frictional gaming marathon at some point. Because I think I own them all and haven't actually played any of them. :D

Quoting: toorIs the market so juicy on Linux about those kind of games? It feels like they port this kind more than any other, or is it just me?
One would assume they have a contract with Creative Assembly to port all their games and expansions. Since TW games appear to be pretty popular in general, they have no reason not to do it.

Quoting: ShmerlIt's not out on GOG yet?

Hmm:

For technical reasons the release of The Longing on GOG.com will be slightly delayed, we promise it'll be less than 400 days.
Might be related to whatever is needed to prevent "cheating". They have mentioned measures to prevent the most obvious cheating (which would be changing your computer time/date) so that people wouldn't get spoiled before their 400 days. But such a measure undoubtedly requires online access and would resemble DRM. Not entirely sure what they plan to do to get around this since gog is usually pretty strict.

A new Steam Client Beta is up, fixing some annoyances for Linux users

Keyring issues weren't exactly limited to Steam. It was always one of the first things I removed from my system. Which should be a harsh lesson because safety measures that become a nuisance fail to achieve their primary goal.

But no Dune 2! I suppose it's mostly similar to Dune 2000, but that's not the one I played loads of. :D

Valve reveals SteamVR 1.10 with a brand new Dashboard

Looks like they've been so busy cleaning up SteamVR before the HL:Alyx release, that they didn't do anything for Linux this time.

The update was released for Mac and apart from a note in the support section they haven't said a word.
