Quoting: toorIs the market so juicy on Linux about those kind of games? It feels like they port this kind more than any other, or is it just me?One would assume they have a contract with Creative Assembly to port all their games and expansions. Since TW games appear to be pretty popular in general, they have no reason not to do it.

Quoting: ShmerlIt's not out on GOG yet?Might be related to whatever is needed to prevent "cheating". They have mentioned measures to prevent the most obvious cheating (which would be changing your computer time/date) so that people wouldn't get spoiled before their 400 days. But such a measure undoubtedly requires online access and would resemble DRM. Not entirely sure what they plan to do to get around this since gog is usually pretty strict.
Hmm:
For technical reasons the release of The Longing on GOG.com will be slightly delayed, we promise it'll be less than 400 days.

Keyring issues weren't exactly limited to Steam. It was always one of the first things I removed from my system. Which should be a harsh lesson because safety measures that become a nuisance fail to achieve their primary goal.

Looks like they've been so busy cleaning up SteamVR before the HL:Alyx release, that they didn't do anything for Linux this time.

Quoting: GuestFor BL2, it is an Aspyr-side problem ?The update was released for Mac and apart from a note in the support section they haven't said a word.

Quoting: EikeNo Feral did the Mac port of BL1, Aspyr did the Mac+Linux ports of BL2. But seeing as Aspyr can't be bothered to bring the last update to Linux, I suspect most people would prefer to have it done by Feral.Quoting: SalvatosNow if only we could get a similar announcement for Borderlands 3 (announced yesterday to come to Steam on the 13th of March). Come on Feral!Didn't they do the previous Linux versions themselves?

Quoting: Lolo01Indeed. The exclusivity deal was a big stain. But doing a full Linux port for a game like this is still a huge positive. Everybody will have to weigh the positives and negatives for themselves, but for me it's still a net positive.Quoting: celphyA developer that has decided to enter into an exclusivity deal with Epic is not someone I want to support.I understand your point of view.
In the end they are placing money over consumer interests and hoping it works out in their favour.
I personally don't want it to pay off so I'd rather not buy those games.
But still, it's a huge Linux port. They are rare, it must be taken into account.
