CRYENGINE is planning to add in Vulkan support around October for the 5.3 release

As I understand it, Unreal Engine only has Vulkan in the Mobile renderer yet. Which means that not all features of the engine are currently supported. Come to think of it, the list of fully released UE4 titles on Linux is pretty small as well.

I assume that Linux confirmation means that they upgraded to Unreal Engine 4 since the kickstarter.

Quoting: grenadecxCool thing, but I've no respect for Phil Fish after his opinion about streaming content.

Anyone not following, here's an article about it:
Fez Creator Phil Fish: YouTubers Should Pay Game Devs "Huge Portion" of Revenue [External Link]

I know he is not the one porting it, but still, I suppose he gets revenue somewhere along the line.
Meh, as long as doesn't go around dmca-ing videos I couldn't care less...
If you think about it, it is actually interesting that people are allowed to put a game front to back on youtube or twitch without the consent of the creator. I'd imagine most would have no problem with it due to the exposure that it creates. But maybe form some primarily story driven games this would not be so good.

Actually, the allowed part is an assumption. I don't recall this ever having been tested. If this is actually challenged in court and ruled in favor of the creators, it could require youtubers and streamers to request approval.

Cities: Skylines - Natural Disasters expansion announced, mother nature is pissed

With Skylines being a continued development from Cities in Motion 2, I would expect it to be Unity 4. At the moment I can only recall Kerbal Space Program doing a Unity 4 to Unity 5 conversion and it appears that it took quite a bit of effort. Also, they may still be busy porting features over from CiM2 into C:S. :P

Quoting: Mountain ManI thought it was already confirmed that Civ 6 is coming to Linux.
I recall it being mentioned, but it's not listed on Steam(DB) yet and it still needs someone to actually do the port.

Personally I hope it's something different too. I'm partial to the Bioshock Remastered suggestion!

The problem with day 1 Linux is, I haven't finished the old one! Because I got sidetracked by other games. The luxury problems we have these days. ^_^

It's always a very good sign when even the pre-release stuff (the builder in this case) already works perfectly on Linux.

Also "Windows and Linux PCs". Someone will be happy. :D
