Cool, I was looking for something to try this with. Using the RTX features to calculate global illumination for the normal rasterizing renderers was one of the more impressive uses in the demos.

Quoting: LinasMostly negative reviews, but when I look at the reviews themselves, only 3 of them are negative on the front page. :S:
Their review volume is quite low, so that makes the "recent" quite sensitive to variation. Still, it looks like an ok arcade racer game. Nothing wrong with that, I'm still looking for a Powerslide replacement. But the price and the DLC are a bit too AAA for me. With the game definitely not reflecting the good parts of AAA.

Quoting: NanobangAddendum: It's looking to me like the IPv6 "support" means one must now use IPv6 to download from Steam. My VPN normally blocks IPv6 traffic to protect from IPv6 leaks, and unless I disable that function, Steam downloads nothing.
I would assume that this happens because your system has an IPv6 address. Forcing IPv6 would be seriously problematic since half the world is still without it.

Almost the same case as I just built my new PC in. Quite a premium on the higher powered models though. I understand that having something pre-built and pre-installed is worth something, but it looked about 40% overpriced. Maybe the low GBP is making computer components extra expensive in the UK.

If this is such a big problem, then this:

... so that any portion of the Unity Software is primarily executed on or simulated by the cloud or a remote server ...
tells me that game (or middleware) devs have been doing some weird things.

Quoting: EikeLeaving Lyndow was a little disappointment for me.
I was prepeared that it's short, but it felt... empty.
It is also pretty cheap. It actually looks like it may have been a tech demo for this one. Still not sure how this one will make an interesting game though. The trailer is kind of vague.

it’s just we have so many features to implement.
Yeah, pretty much everything missing. Even an actual store. :D

This game is f2p, has no dlc and does not have "in-app purchases" specified. How is this funded?

Quoting: LeopardIf Epic Store will be coming to Linux ( which i don't think so ) without a Proton like solution it would mean nothing.
It would give developers of Linux games another market shelf.
It would give Linux more market presense.
It would be a foot in epics door for Linux versions of their products.
For starters it would mean Epic would port their Launcher. Which would at least be a big toe.
