Fortnite PvE used to work way back. Fortnite Battle Royal has (as far as I know) never worked due to BattlEye. And last time I checked, the Epic launcher stopped working, so I couldn't even check whether the non-BattlEye version for PvE was still a thing. Something may have changed, but I still doubt that it works.

The problem is that prices for hardware can't drop to match the local wages. There's not enough margin on those products. And even if they did, the manufacturers probably want to avoid an "ebay market" from low income countries to the US/EU.

I see the article saying "is now officially available on Linux" but I have no idea what it's talking about. The game is definitely not available on Linux. If the author is indeed seeing it available for Linux then it means it's region locked. I live in Canada.

I should check again, but when I saw it appear I installed it and there was barely anything there. Definitely no executable. I'm also not entirely sure how I got that one game from the package, but it was definitely not a store purchase. I had a quick peek at SteamDB and noticed there are quite a few packages that have not been updated to include the Linux depot. So it is possible that I got one of those. Maybe something similar applies to you.

The images look pretty good, but also very much staged. I have no doubt that these guys know how to make a Serious Sam game, but I still would like to see something that is taken from actual in game action.

Since nobody asked for wishes, it's not relevant at all. Relevant would be to discuss how to get porters like Ryan Gordon in contact with developers that might show interest in having their game porter. Wishing for skyrim has been done a thousand times and adds nothing to the subject of this article.

How expected and completely useless all these responses with games people wish for are. That doesn't help him at all. He needs devs or at least people with connections to devs. Unfortunately, I can't help him in that regard.
