Quoting: liamdaweAh it's not a race though remember, I always find the times developers say are off since they know their own game, it's hard from them to imagine properly someone who doesn't know it.Nowhere was this more true than in The Long Dark. Their 15 hours of content for the first two episodes took me 35 hours. :D
Unforeseen Incidents, a classic-styled point & click inspired by X-Files and Lost will have full Linux support

Quoting: EzyRhinoThe problem of the value will largely be based on the player base. A game with 100 player BR will need thousands of players online at any given time to make that work. This may sound easy, but it's not. Just check the the player numbers of Ballistic Overkill.Quoting: Cestusi would have played it if free but 25$, there is just no way!I don't know man. For me, if the game is good, I'll pay standard pricing to help support the dev that took the time to make a game for our platform. Simple as that.

Sometimes I can wonder whether I have actually matured as much as my years should make me have. Today I've been shown that it may actually be the case. Not sure how I feel about that.

The video quality is pretty terrible indeed.
Going by the backer numbers, this game must have been intended for Nintendo Switch originally. Also, the video demonstrating PC/Switch cross play is with both players on controller and it looks pretty clunky. I'd like to see some more frantic mouse/keyboard gameplay.

Quoting: Whitewolfe80Wow unity has come a long way, it seems to be a truly verstile engine it is a shame asset flippers have decended on it and steam is over loaded with that crap.Luckily Steam has screenshot previews everywhere now so that you don't even have to open the game page to spot an asset flip.

DXVK, the Vulkan compatibility layer for Direct3D 11 and Wine has a fresh release reducing CPU overhead

Quoting: MohandevirI've been able to install and make Steam's Witcher 3 start following cRaZy-bisCuiT's how-to, with Wine 3.7.DXVK had a big performance with the new shader compiler from the 396.18 drivers. I'm not entirely up to date on DXVK, but I'm not sure if that has all been fixed on the side either DXVK or the driver. If not (or you're using an older DXVK version), then this could explain the low performance.
In fact I copied the game folder of my Windows install to my wine prefix. This said, it's really laggy and slow. Better than stock Wine but not really playable. It's far from the Windows version with the same hardware (i7-3770, GTX 960, Nvidia 396.18). Any clue what might be wrong?
