Quoting: lucifertdarkAfter you have logged, there is an option under the search parameters "Hide owned games".Quoting: EhvisYou can do that through the SteamDB sales page. Not sure what I'm doing wrong but it's not filtering out games I already have on the sales page, ps thanks for pointing me in the right direction, I'd not seen that page before. :D

Quoting: Guppy90% off the steam link - I'm hoping that means they have new hardware coming out, though with my luck it properly means that the link was a flop and they are bailing :(There is a possibility that they're making a 4k version of course.
Quoting: lucifertdarkLooking at the sales pages on Steam I need a filter for all the stuff I already own.You can do that through the SteamDB sales page.

Quoting: monnefThanks for the info, removed it from my wishlist. 20euro is a bit too much for me for such poorly looking game (also I dislike they stance on sales, so I am not supporting it).You can also argue that doing sales devalues the game. Especially if you see those AAA games go 50% off two months after release. Not a good way to reward those that paid full price for the product.

Quoting: XpanderHow come they don't support Vulkan yet? There is a early access game called The Isle which has working Vulkan version on Linux. No issues last time i tested it (~2 months ago). Using UE4 ofcA few months ago I was reading on the UE4 forums a bit about the state of Vulkan. My interpretation of what was mentioned by those trying it, is that it is terribly slow (which is still the case with DX12 as well as far as I know). It was suggested that the whole engine is simply not suitable to take advantage of these new APIs and needs a lot of rebuilding. This is of course the case for pretty much all engines (I don't think Croteam beat its DX11 scores with Vulkan yet), but I got the impression that UE4 did much worse. If this is correct, it may take years before UE4 is in a state to work well with Vulkan.
Bystander, a game that looks similar to Papers, Please adds Linux support

Quoting: wvstolzingLooks nice, but why did the 5.25" floppy have to enter the drive backwards? It is getting more and more likely that the current generation of devs have never actually used floppy disk or even seen one in real life.

Quoting: SamsaiHow many games even are there that use compatibility profiles or otherwise non-standard OpenGL?Maybe it's not about games. A lot of professional software uses compatibility profiles. So does X-Plane.

Quoting: linuxvangogYou are seriously overestimating our resources hereIf GOG Galaxy ever makes it to Linux, it could be interesting to have a PlayOnLinux style system included in it. The advantage is that these configurations would be sorted out by the community instead of requiring a lot of QA from GOG. While not being "official" support, they would be easily accessible to those that do not have the time or interest to set up Wine for a specific game.

Quoting: lucifertdarkI would much prefer to have them say "we found a bug & fixed it" rather than "we found a bug & we'll fix it some time in the next month or so", fix it then tell us it about it.They're not saying they'll fix it in next release. They stated it would contain a workaround because they have not yet identified the cause.

Quoting: Xpanderi still havent noticed any difference in performance with drivers 375.x to 387.34.It is apparently a bug that causes higher VRAM usage. You probably have plenty of that for most games so that it won't affect performance much.
