GTA-inspired game 'Riskers' could see a Linux version with enough support

I never really got along with the tank controls of GTA1/2 when walking. From the video it looks like this game has a better control scheme. Could be fun if it arrives on Linux.

Quoting: EhvisSince "walking while standing still" is the most common cause of nausea with VR, I'm wondering how they solved that in this game.
True locomotion support - teleport, instant teleport, blink teleport, classic full locomotion (with or without comfort mode). Explore the game's non-linear world, solving puzzles your way. Go with the safe built-in teleportation system or tweak and adjust the way you jump through the VR space to best suit your playing style.
It looks like "whatever works best for you". If they're using the same system as the Serious Sam VR titles, it's pretty flexible and works nicely.
I read about the teleportation in SSVR. I'm not sure how that is going to work in The Talos Principle. It would be ok for the main puzzles, but there is also a fair bit of free exploration needed to get to the stars that does not match well with teleportation. I suppose they could just have gotten rid of that part of the game.

PS3 emulator RPCS3 now supports high resolution rendering

Quoting: NouserWhy did they even bother including such high resolution images when nobody was going to be able to appreciate them at a PS3?
It just means PS3 players had to be closer to see it. That's really why this works so well. The emulator can use the high resolution textures meant for close up views for much further away, making it look much nicer at higher resolution. I imagine it's not so easy with LOD versions of the models though.

Quoting: stretch611I never played Theme Park... is the game play the same as Roller Coaster Tycoon?
Most seem to compare it with RCT2.

I actually haven't played this in a while. I was waiting for the added slope transitions. So about time I gave it some time again.

I tried to play the first campaign mission on hard. I got absolutely massacred. Apparently I still suck at this game.

The latest Steam Hardware Survey shows Linux market-share has declined again

Nice graph, that says more than the individual numbers. I do wonder about the section before it though. In any case, it appears Steam is growing quicker for Windows users than it is for Linux users at the moment. And PUBG isn't doing it any favours either.

As for Windows users on this site. Even I do that at work. No chance of me getting a survey on Windows though.

Quoting: jensFingers crossed for Rise of the Tomb Raider! Then I would finally have a good reason to invest into a new 1440p UWQHD monitor and a steam controller :)
I would like to play it in 3440x1440, but considering that TR barely managed, I fear I may have to upgrade my GPU first.
