The third and final chapter of upcoming point-and-click adventure 'The Journey Down' now has a release date

I played the first chapter and it did not disappoint. Everything that a point and click adventure should be. I did leave the second chapter till it was close to the release of the third. It appears the time has come to do all three now.

I have the alpha (got it when they actually made clear that they would be doing the entire alpha on all platforms, not Linux as an afterthought), so I'll have a good look next week.

I never had any problems with the game though. Besides the usual Unity issues (failing to start when certain hardware is plugged in or certain programs are running).

What have you been playing recently and what do you think about it?

It's a good one. The community assets available are unlimited - people spend so much time modding that game. You're right -- it is a big install even with just the US/Europe maps (37 GB)
Just wait until you start adding stuff. Soon you'll find it grew to 500 GB. I spoke to streamer that rendered large parts of the EU and US in photo scenery and accumulated over 10 TB. It can get a little crazy.

Ehm. Half Life 2 ep 1 and ep 2 because Liam knows he will be streaming those soon. :P Also Hitman because it's just to cool to find all the ways that I can get killed. Wait, that's not how the game works?

More on topic, I'm still not clear what the actual game is in this game.

What games were you playing? A few examples would be interesting?
Some of the iD stuff and a few retro games on emulators. I did mostly programming back in those days. I did pick up a few of the LGP titles later. Spent quite a few hours with Sacred.

Your playthrough triggered me to finish the second half of the game as well. So thanks! It took me double your time though. No speed running here. :D

I noticed Dirt Rally appearing in the "New releases". Apparently Steam does see the Linux release data as separate now.
