This game has one big flaw. It exposes that I have no talent for building things! :D

Quoting: ZeloxIt may simply be that Linux users are more active in finding what's out there and Mac users are more passive and simply buy what's available. If that is the case, Linux may be a more interesting target for crowd funding.Quoting: liamdaweMac apparently is a lower priority as Linux has been in higher demand. That's interesting, and that's got to be a first for me at least.

Initially it's a bit odd. First you download the steam game. Then it starts downloading table from within the game. I changed the viewing angle and it started downloading again. Both downloads specifically for my resolution.
Of course, like anyone, I expected the table to be 3d model. But this proves it's actually a pre-rendered view. The big advantage is that it looks absolutely perfect. But you are restricted to the views they give you, which is currently only two of the five.
I found another disadvantage. After 15 years without Windows, I'm thoroughly out of practice on pinball games. :D

Why? Doom is now OpenGL and it's not available on Linux either.
System Shock remake heads to Kickstarter, Linux is the first stretch-goal

Platforms as a stretch goal is a weird idea. You can't support the stretch goal individually, but if the project is funded without making the stretch goal, you can't get your money back either. Of course, that the case with every stretch goal, but in this case you're effectively left with nothing.

I can hardly remember using 32 bit on my desktop. The only thing that used that for a while was my old netbook, which hasn't seen power at least two years. There is almost no support from new games. So, considering that 16.04 LTS will be supported until 2021, dropping it is probably the right thing to do.

I'd love to join (either the game or the stream), but I don't think my boss would be amused. ;)
