I bought slay the spire and it pwns, I've played 13 hours in like 4 evenings, totally hooked. I've now beat it with the two first characters, will force myself to have a break until the next character leaves beta before playing more for sure.

I also bought All Walls Must Fall [External Link], which is 30% off, really cool. I have not seen it covered very much but it is really cool.

Now I am very tempted to buy Tyranny as well. Expensive business these sales!

My experience is that GOG wont refund even when the game runs poorly purely technically or when I dont like the game for some other reason, at all. I have never tried itch refunding, but I have experience of people giving me free keys just to try it (trusting me to pay later) and such, but I guess that is up to which developer you choose to buy from.

The steam refunding is nice. Sometimes I'm not sure wether a game will run well - today I am for instance trying All Walls Must Fall, dunno if my computer will handle it so it's nice to be able to try.

They don't actually take anything. Each Dev has to specify the how much of the sales goes to itch. They can give as little as 0% or as much as 100%

Slay the Spire [External Link] is another damn good choice. Didn't include it in my top picks as the discount is only 20%, but it's well worth it. I regularly boot it up for a run...or two :D
