I played Caves of Qud ALOT about 2 years ago, then burned out, and since then I've been eagerly awaiting 1.0 to dive back in :D it's really cool, the athmosphere is amazing.

It worked perfect out of the box for me too, and it was really cool with the zipping yeah! And I love how it doesent put any lore into your face and overexplains things, it just is the way it is and you have to deduce things from environment etc. nice storytelling.

Kinda looks like a basic Blendo Games game! well its a nice idea, hope they get performance fixed and some polish on it! Its a neat idea with the tower climbing for sure.

Quoting: Redface
Quoting: buenaventuraAlso apparently the GOG version of Stellaris is no good since it does not support cross platform MP I think? As in you can only play with other GOGers, not with steam people. If MP is what yo after.
Are you sure about that? Paradox made their own launcher and untied the multiplayer from Steam last year so people using the paradox launcher can play with those using steam.

And the GOG Stelaris page claims:

Stellaris includes a beta version of the new PDX multiplayer system, allowing for cross-play with friends regardless of which PC games distribution platform they are playing from. Paradox will continue to support and develop this feature.
Oh, that might be the case! I havent tried myself, well thanks for the correction!

Neat! Looks mechanically nice, I have to say characters and music/sfx are a little on the bland side but maybe that will be improving :) I have it wishlisted anyway, nice work! I loved SSB/M.

The latest major update to the RTS game Planetary Annihilation: TITANS is out

Quoting: buenaventuraI could get into this, but I find it a little stale that there is just one faction? I'm a starcraft nerd and I love zerg because they play so differently from the others, but this is a little too clinical for me maybe. I have PA:Titans and I might try it sometime anyways!
There's a number of mods, one of the most popular is "The Legion" which deals with exactly that :)
Aha, cool! So the mods have a playerbase too or, so you can find online matches? I might look into that :) Honestly SC: remastered just has so much for me but is so hard so sometimes I wonder if I should try some easier game, but then I have watched professional brood war for so long I just really love the game, so it might just be my single RTS. I've always bounced off RTS as a genre, my multitasking is weak. Thanks for the tip anyhow!
