User Editorial: Steam Machines & SteamOS after a year in the wild

Good article, I'm still using my syber steam machine (partly because I'm amidst building renovations and sofa/console like gaming is about all I have space for at the minute).
It's not a bad experience but it could be so much better add pointed out above, Netflix integration would be great, and a couple of UI tweaks wouldn't hurt.
All in all, don't regret my decision (fully upgradeable and can always wipe and go back to full Linux) just would be nice to get some valve love on the actual OS every now and then :)

Looks interesting and pretty polished already. Hope it doesn't sit in EA forever like many other survival games

I've been looking for something to scratch my minecraft itch since my jump to steamos (I know I can install it in desktop mode but trying to keep it as "standard" as possible let - newborn baby means less time to fix if it all goes wrong ????)
What are people's views on Starbound?
Have been desperate to try out subnautica but it's not looking likely to come our way :(

I really wanted one of these but the lack of GPU upgradeability and the fact it only comes with a 960M (with no options at purchase for a different model) led me to buy the syber machine, not as small but really pleased with it.
