Jane Jensen's "Mystery Game X" Unmasked
20 Oct 2013 at 8:12 am UTC

Yeah, us Moebius Kickstarter backers have been bugging them to update the website also.  So far, the forum interaction with Phoenix Online's technical director (and this GOL article) are the only way the news has been broken, regarding the Linux port.  Which is absolutely silly.
Perhaps she had to go discuss the port with P.O. Studios first or something, the forum post went up about three hours after your tweet.

Other than that, I agree on all counts, including the title track, though I like it way better than the music from GK2/3, personally.  I'm OK with it.

Dark Matter 2.5D Survival Horror Now On Steam For Linux
17 Oct 2013 at 7:43 pm UTC

Wow, that's a chilling trailer!!  I love the painterly look of the watercolor background... really a cool way to invoke an atmosphere of side-scrolling action-adventure, very cinematic.

The alpha gameplay trailer reminds me a lot of Abuse from the late 90's, but with some differences, mainly modern graphics and a slower pace to allow for puzzles and story elements.

It does seem that Steam is the only way to buy the Linux version (apparently they distribute exclusively on Steam and GOG).

Steam Has Greenlit Even More Games For Linux
17 Oct 2013 at 7:04 pm UTC

Even though I'm not a Steam person, I'm most excited about the story-driven games on the list, and backed some in their crowdfunding campaigns, including Fran Bow, J.U.L.I.A, Neverending Nightmares, and Hot Tin Roof.  I hope that the Steam sales keep those studios in continuously production making games for us and distributed several ways, and I voted for them on Greenlight.

Glad to have you here!  I hope the grand experiment works out OK, and you choose to stick around here :-)

Shadowrun Returns Is Now In Beta For Linux

Quoting: Quote from GamerI will buy it as soon as it is on Desura
It won't ever be on Desura. They are contractually obliged by Microsoft to have DRM (exception made to Kickstarter backers) and they use Steam as the DRM.
Well, Desura permits, but discourages, DRM.  They do sell titles which have CD-key style activation.  So, unless the contract specifically calls out Steam as the required DRM method (something the team have not specifically clarified), it could be distributed on Desura with a form of DRM if Harebrained Schemes chooses to do so.  I doubt they will.
