Nice that Sega didn't make you jump though hoops to get to the ROMs. They all work fine for me in Mednafen. Phantasy Star 4 loads up in Japanese for some reason though...

So, does anyone know what percentage of Win32 games actually runs in Wine at at least a silver rating? That would be a handy measuring stick for progress, I think.

Seems the engine is having problems reading/loading the data files even if you point them to the right place.

Looks like your missing enet. On Debian and Ubuntu, the relevant package is libenet-dev. On Arch, it's enet. On Gentoo, it's net-libs/enet.
I happen to be using Fedora 27 atm, but that seemed to do the trick.
