Bioshock 1 runs very well under Proton. Bioshock Infinite has a native Linux port.

Obsidian was snappy after their Kickstarter funding; Wasteland 2, and PoE were released in 2014 and 2015, respectively.

inXile took FOUR YEARS to release T:ToN, and spent so much money on the damn million-word novel that gameplay and story suffered, and, when the player figures that the game is roughly halfway through, the ending abruptly presents itself. It was about 1% of a "Tribute to Planescape:Torment." It did have a puissant amnesiac main character who couldn't die, but that was about it.

In short, I'm worried about the M$ acquisition of Obsidian, and couldn't care less about inXile's acquisition.

It's a damn shame.

GOG and Steam are both running a Polish celebration sale

Once my desktop gets running (a very long story), I'll install Witcher 3, which I already bought for $19.95. I've wanted to play that sucka for several years, but wasn't about to install Windows, even in a VM, to play it.

Now with SteamPlay, that problem is solved:woot:!

Quoting: HadBabitsI remember being open mouthed when discussing homelessness with a co-worker who simply said "I'd just get a job until I could afford a place to stay."
A colleague of mine stated homeless people are all romantic clochards preferring the free life...
Both people have zero idea of what bad things can come to people when a job is lost, medical bills are too high to pay, a divorce leaving a man homeless, the mentally ill, and the financially poor.

Show a smidgen of compassion. There, but for the grace of God, go you.

Neverwinter Nights: Enhanced Edition levels up and arrives on GOG

The BioWare Linux client STILL works. My only gripe about the EE is the tiny movies, especially since there is a way to have full-screen videos in the Linux client. Still, I'm very happy with my third purchase of the game I know I have played more than any other, in the past 16 years.

Quoting: slaapliedjeWhat would have been nice is a multi-character mod of some sort. So you could play through the modules that require more than one character without actually needing more than one player. Yeah I know, anti-social, but still... :P
Actually, the game has always had controllable companions; since Shadows of Undrentide. It certainly has in Hordes of the Underdark.

It's you. :) They have always listed the platforms.

I played NWN from its 2002 release on Windoze until I got smart and moved to Linux. Bioware put out a Linux client in 2003, and it still works.

I, of course, had no problem at all buying it again from my Beamdog buddies.

NO game has more hours of RPG Gaming Goodness (tm) than NWN, with 16 years of free mods on https://neverwintervault.org [External Link].

There is no game I can recommend more highly.

BUY IT!

I got it last night. It's still Reigns, but the GoT stuff makes it a lot of fun.
