Wow, thanks for that! I literally have no time to check every project's updates, so I was still under the impression the game would feature cell-shaded 2D characters. This really makes it even more interesting to me. :)

Yes, if we raise enough money. We estimate it will cost $40,000 to $50,000 to convert the PC version to Mac and Linux based on past experience. but we are upgrading our PC game engine and that may (hopefully) lower the cost of conversion substantially.

Bill Tiller previously worked on 'The Dig' and 'The Curse of Monkey Island' (both Lucas Arts).
I really love his art.

I actually had spotted this one, contacted the developers and received their reply in which they said they were considering Linux support as a stretch goal, but never saw that FAQ entry where they sort of quantify the cost of doing it. It's going straight to the wiki then, and will most likely be one of next column's Biggies. ^_^

Regarding St. Chris I'm afraid you might be right, although they certainly stick to a point-and-click definition and neither the word "visual" nor "novel" is ever used in the entire page. After seeing some of the images I also feared it could include silly puzzles or even ($DEITY forbid) some hidden-object hunts, but I think we can safely rule out this possibility after this:

Yep, the Steam Community links work fine for me, but not so the Store page for this game. I've tried it again, I've bothered to read the full error message and turns out the game is currently unavailable in my region (EU Tier 2). Guess I'll have to wait, then. :(

Funny you should say that, I always assumed that pixel-art game lovers were precisely the generation (my generation) that were brought up playing them, and that their haters were mostly teenagers who never enjoyed them and found them simplistic and unpleasant to the eye. It never occurred to me that anybody could grow tired of them... I haven't, that's for sure! :P

Wow, this one is really huge! I think the time has come to start tipping HIB for their bundles again, after I decided against in response of the THQ bundle.

While not the biggest of them all, I am a big fan of adventure games and this saga looks pretty good indeed. I wish it was made available DRM-free, though...

Anyway, looks like Amazon is offering it cheaper than anybody else (33% off rathen than 20%). Go to the Sales page for more details. ;)
