The Funding Crowd 44

Quoting: STiATIs it me, or is since Greenlight and Early Access appeared that one pretty much dying?
Do you mean Kickstarter? If so, yes, I'd say it's you. Greenlight and Early Access have been around for more than two years, and in that time there's been a lot of successful KS campaigns.

It's true and obvious that people are more skeptical now than at the beginning of the crowdfunding era, and more reluctant to throw their money at the first concept art put in front of them. But in my opinion the anomalies were the millions-of-dollars campaigns of yore, and not the smaller amounts of today.

And yet, after the ones you mentioned, one can still find successful campaigns like e.g. Shadowrun: Hong Kong [External Link].

Quoting: fleskHehe. ;) What did you think of CLARC (if you played it that is)? I didn't like the action sequences in it at all, but the more puzzle-y stealth elements were pretty interesting, and I overall really liked the game. I might write a review of it sometime.
I haven't finished the game, but so far I mainly think like you: liked a lot the puzzle sections but not so much the action stuff.

Hehe, while reading the article I couldn't help thinking "this looks a lot like CLARC with co-op". And then I reached the final paragraph. :)

I guess I'll wait for the DRM-free builds to be added.

New Linux Gaming Survey For April

Quoting: hardpenguin
Quoting: GuestIt might be time to change "Games using Wine wrappers (such as The Witcher 2)" since The Witcher 2 has never been using Wine.
This^

More fitting examples: System Shock 2 (Crossover wrapper, available on Steam), Flatout 2 (Wine wrapper, available on GOG).
Easiest solution: removing "Wine" from the existing sentence and leaving it at "Games using wrappers" (and maybe adding "such as XXX, YYY, or ZZZ" if you want to further clarify.)
