Quoting: notpatchmanThe Halycon 6 game is marketed by Square Enix corporation (Final Fantasy, etc) so that should explain the mystery behind their rapid funding.
True, I forgot to mention it in the writeup. They took part in the Square Enix Collective program [External Link] and are being helped by SE on marketing and PR, so that could truly be an important factor in its success.

Adventure RPG 'To The Moon' Has Minisodes And Translations Available For Linux, Looking For Testers

If you own the game on GOG [External Link] or Humble Store [External Link], you will find the minisodes listed as downloads from your account.
I thought I wouldn't have access to the minisodes since I got the game through a Humble Indie Bundle, but lo and behold, there they are! Awesome! :D

Quoting: GuestAnd - as (too) often - the notice that this game and the DLC is also available DRM-free [External Link]. For those who care.
To be honest, I got used to Steam (which I avoided for a long time on Windows), so I personally do not care much, but this is still useful information that might be contained in articles as well. Another useful thing would be, in case it exists, a porter shop (like Aspyr and Feral have), so the porters get the max out of the money we pay.
As a matter of fact the DLC is also available DRM-free on GamesRepublic, and buying it there also supports GamingOnLinux, so it's a win-win-win, no need to buy it on Humble.

You're right, that's it. We discussed the issue, and don't know why but in the end I was left with the impression that we really included it in a TFC article.

DRM Free Games Sales Orgy With GOG's Double Insomnia Promo

Quoting: muntdefemsMy guess is that they will start repeating offers today, so chances are that you'll find what you want if you keep an eye on GOG's main page every now and then.
Hah! I should become a medium/seer: just as I predicted, some games have began to re-appear a few hours ago. First within the seasoned batch, and a little later within the fresh one.

The bad news is that they seem to be appearing at about the same time as yesterday, so maybe we'll have to change our sleep habits in order to see all of the games on sale. :O

Quoting: pd12Is there any way to find out which games are in the 2 pools?
None that I know of. My guess is that they will start repeating offers today, so chances are that you'll find what you want if you keep an eye on GOG's main page every now and then.

Thanks to the kind developer, I've got a spare Steam key for Bleed to give away. It will go to the first commenter to post and explain the last time he/she bled (I mean, due to accidental causes  ).

Quoting: KeizgonI see no indication of Linux support (please confirm) for:

- This Is The Police
- Strafe
- Star Mazer
- This Is the Police: as stated in the article, Linux support depends on a $30k stretch goal (over the $25k base funding goal). See the Stretch Goals section of its Kickstarter page.

- Strafe: also as stated in the article and in its Kickstarter page's FAQ [External Link], Linux support is not 100% guaranteed but they'll try. Pledge with caution.

- Starr Mazer: see its Kickstarter page's FAQ [External Link].
