Here's a couple more kickstarters:
Crystal Quest [External Link]
This is a remake of a 1987 Macintosh game. I rember playing this and it was very addictive. This has Linux as one of the ports.
Underworld: Ascendant [External Link]
This is a sucessor to Ultima: Underworld. Looks like it could be fantastic, but it's only Linux/Mac if a 750k stretch goal is reached. I'm somewhat worried this will be another Carmageddon.

"Oh, and another reason I would not buy the game : even in single player you have to be online, and have another registration on top of your Steam one. You can't play local."
Same here. It's the exact same reason I didn't buy Diablo 3 or Starcraft 2 - Single and and lan play should never ever have an online dependency. I also posted a comment about this in their "we put single player back in" post.

I had a couple issues getting the beta to work:
It was requiring an older version of a curl library that had openssl compiled in.
It needed libudev.so.0
To fix:
libudev issue: sudo ln -s /usr/lib/libudev.so.1 /usr/lib/libudev.so.0
or symlink wherever your system puts libudev (I'm on Arch)
For the curl issue, download this : http://curl.haxx.se/download/curl-7.23.1.tar.gz [External Link]
tar -xzvf curl-7.23.1.tar.gz
cd curl-7.23.1
./configure
(in the next line, replace the # with the number of cores/cpus you have - like -j2 or -j4 for example - it just makes the compile go faster)
MAKEFLAGS="-j#" make
(after the compile is complete, just copy the needed lib into the root of PA directory)
cp ~/curl-7.23.1/lib/.libs/libcurl.so.4 ~/PA
This let me run the game and I was able to play and get my butt kicked :) Resource management was pretty nice - just make metal and energy 'plants' then add some storage buildings for each to increase how much you can have on hand. After that, build stuff :)

Only one single 'feature' has kept me from buying this game - you *must* do multiplayer via their servers - no LAN only games. I'd buy copies to play with my family/friends if they'd remove that limitation.
Awesomenauts on it's way for Linux?

Ok - I don't know if i've got some kind of screwy caching going on or something, but looking at Humble's Twitter page at https://twitter.com/humble [External Link], along the left side there's some media thumbnails and three of them show the "WTF IS..." picture of the Awesomenauts video with the most of the words "Humble Indie Bundle" as part of the pic.
I saw this in Firefox and double-checked in Chromium and I see it there too. Is anyone else seeing it or do I need to do some cache-cleaning?
