Dune: Spice Wars is out in Early Access, works on Linux and Steam Deck

I got a little excited when I saw this article pop up. I was always a bit interested in trying the original Dune RTSes but never got around to it. Turns out it's a 4X game, though. It makes sense considering the themes of the series, but it's not for me.

Quoting: FauconNoirIs it now possible to co-op between Windows and Linux ?
Co-op had already been playable cross-platform.

Looking forward to picking it up again with a hopefully slightly more stable experience.

Space Colony: Steam Edition Should Be Coming To Linux

Again, very glad to hear this. I grew up a little on this game and found it a lot of fun. Really hope it gets ported.

I could compare it to Spacebase DF-9. Except, ya know, finished, playable, and fun. It's the reason I found interest in games like Spacebase and Rimworld.

Picked this up a couple days ago. Along with the lack of options (missing volume control being especially damaging for me), I felt the negative powerups were a little annoying compared to similar games that I'm used to. Usually they'd offer at least some points, so they might feel worthwhile to get, but that's not the case here. They're not especially hurtful, at least not to the extent that I felt I could ever attribute a death to them, and for some reason they home in on your paddle, so at worst they're a mild unavoidable nuisance.

I usually like this kind of game, but sadly it got a bit slow and repetetive after a short time.

I hadn't noticed you were adding things like Awesome and i3 to the desktop environment poll (is there a difference between i3 and i3wm?). I always went straigh to None/Custom and didn't bother looking for those, considering I don't think of them as a DE. Should I start including my answer under 'Other'? Maybe you should ask what window manager people use to avoid confusion?

Again, numbers are numbers and tend to be quite dehumanising, so it would be very interesting to hear what the reasons were behind this in the comments.
I already own a gaming PC and, considering I'm a PC gamer, I don't have much need for such a thing. Even if I did, the price would be another barrier.

I'd like to see this become a superior version of Fraxy. From the trailer it looks pretty basic, comparatively.
