How heavy is UnExplored on resources? Does it run on a laptop without running all cores at 100%?

I really like the graphical design; the low poly models together with the very atmospheric lighting and ambient effects makes for a game that feels "real" but never falls into the uncanny valley or look dated.

And wo far I love the game itself. Playing solo and currently trying to build up the courage to take out a troll that's in the way of exploring the forest.

What have I been playing? A hint: it begins with 'V'...

Other than that, I got Dicey Dungeons on a recommendation here a few weeks ago. And it is everything it promises: A quick, fun "roguelike" dice/card battle with a lot of variation. While the likes of Valheim sucks you in for hours, you can play Dicey Dungeons in short bursts of a few minutes.

Quoting: bradgyFirst XCOM2 playthrough here (only 5 years late, oh well), and I am sucking, hard.
XCOM2 is one of my favourite games of all time. I'm envious that you can play it with fresh eyes!

Got it yesterday. It's really amazingly fun even single player. And with servers apparently limited to 10 people, it may be a pretty good online environment too.

Size looks perfect. I wonder what switches they use. I'm partial to Topre myself but I guess they're using Cherry or some other maker.

First impression is really good. It's lacking guidance on keys and mouse actions, and identifying units can get really confusing. But there's some solid gameplay there. Unfortunately, it also reminded me that I don't play RTSs for a reason...

I love slay the spire, but eventually burned out on it a little. Is this different enough to be a good buy?

I've dived back into Factorio after the 1.0 release. And for variety I've started another Stardew Valley run. That's kept me going the past few weeks.

Though to be honest I've mostly spent my time reading for a change. Had my summer holiday, and as we can't really travel it's mostly been books and coffee for me.

The fab physics bridge-builder Poly Bridge 2 gets a huge free content update

I'm playing Poly Bridge 1 now, and while it's fun, it starts to feel very samey after a while. They could probably have removed half the levels and really improved the game.

Does the new game have a wider array of different challenges, or does it suffer from the same issue?
