DIRT 5 seems to be inspired by Forza Horizon which is good news for me. Now if only it had open world mode, just like Forza Horizon has. :-)

Quoting: officerniceIt probably would if not for that damn launcher...As far as I know, the Rockstar Launcher issues were already resolved, but there are other issues with the game itself using syscalls that Wine does not support and are not easy to implement. People from CodeWeavers are working on this.

Steam for Linux can now run games in a special container

edit: It probably does not, unfortunately: "The system tries to use the host OpenGL implementation in the container using libcapsule." (source: Reddit [External Link])
So, Steam will still need 32-bit libs to be able to run 32-bit games.

Quoting: SchattenspiegelI wonder if that means that the Steam client itself will finally be 64-bit.Quoting: vildravnCould this be another hint towards the rumoured cloud service?I'd assume it is more a let's-kill-32-bit (see e.g. ubuntu) fail-safe. Thoughts?

Quoting: robvvHere [External Link] is some info about this thing. We are also patching Ion Fury ASAP to remove all unacceptable language.I've played through the EA release, though I haven't yet fired up the completed game. Makes me wonder what the above statement refers to as I wasn't aware of any particularly insensitive language within the game?
