System requirements have been added to the Steam page:
MINIMUM:
OS: Ubuntu 14.04 (64-bit version), SteamOS, Linux Mint 17.1
Processor: Intel Dual Core 6600 @ 2.4GHz
Memory: 2 GB RAM
Graphics: Intel 4400, GeForce GTX 280, AMD Radeon HD 7750
RECOMMENDED:
OS: Ubuntu 14.04 (64-bit version), SteamOS, Linux Mint 17.1
Processor: [email protected], AMD FX 6300 3.5GHz
Memory: 4 GB RAM
Graphics: GeForce GTX 750, AMD R7 370
With the countless hours my friends and I spent on this game (well, Armageddon) back in secondary school, it wouldn't be right not to support this!

Slain: Back from Hell, a revamp of the not well reviewed Slain is now on Linux, looks much improved now

Yeah, the reviews do a good job of showing the disaster that was the original launch and the vast improvements that were made with this month's release. Having backed the game on Kickstarter, I'm really glad that the developers saw what had to be done and didn't chicken out. I'm not used to hardcore platformers (backed mostly for the theme and aesthetics) so I'm slowly making my way through the levels and it's pretty cool so far. We'll see if I have enough dedication to finish the game :)
Livestreaming on Linux? Here's an essential tip you need on getting follower alerts to show up

I don't stream, but gamingforgood.net seems much better to me as far as features go and I've heard they have better payment terms as well (since they're a non-profit). The company behind TwitchAlerts has done so much shady stuff that I wouldn't even consider them if I were looking for a service like that (bogus lawsuits to shut down the competition, buying an existing app and turning it into a botnet, adding fees to their service without warning - those are just the ones I've heard about).
What have you been playing recently and how is it?

I upgraded my PC on Monday and started Epistory last night (thanks in part to watching GOL's stream of it) - what a fantastic game! So engaging and so beautiful, and the difficulty's just right to keep me always pushing a little harder. I've also been playing too much Guild Wars 2 through PlayOnLinux, now with decent graphics :)
Quoting: ziabiceBefore that I played "Divinity: Original Sin" for 40 hours then got bored: really great combat system, not so great story. I played it under Windows because the Linux port doesn't work with Mesa + radeonsi.I somehow poured 70 hours into that game before giving up on it for the same reason (although I also found combat tedious after a while). Fortunately it was gifted to me.

Looks like a game that could interest me, but I'm no wizard so I couldn't do much more than tell them whether or not it works on my system and send crash reports.
Card-based strategy game Faeria will go free to play in September, it's really good

I very nearly backed this back then, I'll probably give it a shot when it goes free to play even though I prefer to play board games on a table.

Every time Microsoft does something wrong/stupid, I get a little excited. They've already pushed three people to ask me to install some flavor of Linux on their computers, simply because they know I use it rather than Windows and don't really have any complaints about it. If the Windows 10 bullshit keeps going, I suspect I'll get a couple more "converts" in due time.
I should probably feel sorry for the people getting abused by Microsoft who don't know better and don't have a practical way out, but I'm just too happy about Microsoft driving more and more Linux adoption.
