Quoting: loggeGreat! Maybe inform also the developers when and if you get it going :)Quoting: chrMy flatpak version is almost working. The only thing is that it does not find the executable when running from a repository. When I test-run it in flatpak-builder it works like a charm. My first flatpak experience, though :-)Quoting: heidi.wengerI guess the only option left is making an issue? Btw this issue [External Link] asked about flatpak/appimage/snap. So there is a piece of the puzzle (what that person thinks of this).Quoting: chrSomeone with the skills (or time and motivation to acquire the skills in the process) should just go and add an appimage/flatpak/snap build script for them. So the other devs have very little maintenance to do.I was about to email them about this (and maybe even join the convo here!) but there's no contact towards the author to be found? https://github.com/segrax [External Link]
Looks like EA might be banning Linux gamers using Wine to play Battlefield V

EA should be ashamed of themselves. Do they have shame of any kind on anything they do? Apparently not it seems. Just a cold machine heart.
They will never be remembered the same warm way, say, Sierra and Lucasarts now are. Imagine the world without Linux for starters

On the page it says
"Unix/Linux
Ports for OpenBSD and RetroPie are available, and the game should compile on most *nix distributions".
I get that this is in early stages but this confuses the hell out of even a regular Linux user, never mind a new comer :dizzy:
...and Windows users get a clickable .exe ....

There are also those pretty much pretending to be offended on this and that and ruin the atmosphere where ever it takes place ...

Quoting: robvvProblem is, if you take that route the devs now seem to have taken, someone will always be offended of something. It could be anything. No matter how small of a thing it would seem to me and you.We are also patching Ion Fury ASAP to remove all unacceptable language.I've played through the EA release, though I haven't yet fired up the completed game. Makes me wonder what the above statement refers to as I wasn't aware of any particularly insensitive language within the game?

Great looking retro-inspired FPS Ion Fury is out now with Linux support
