Fan-fuckin-tastic, see I never understood why they just treated nwn like a plain game when it came out, maybe it had to do with licensing, that's prolly the answer

but anyway, what they should have done since they created the framework (and the first campaign, while a 'game', was merely a showcase for the framework) to be so amazingly flexible was just pump out modules every week or month, big, small, medium, with voice, without voice, new assets

just like a regular roleplaying game book would come out and be a basic framework, and then they'd release adventures and settings and things, that's what i thought they were going to do at the time but... no, always seemed like a wasted opportunity

but i'm glad beamdog is capitalizing on this, i hope it does well

It makes me think of and miss Savage a whole lot, infact something like this but with a Savage premise would be amazeballs. Why don't we have that?

I'm sure I'm lacking all the knowledge, but could someone explain how it's possible for something to be deck verified and only protondb silver? It seems to me like there should be plenty of overlap, and if it works well enough to be deck verified it should be higher rated...? I dunno.

Man I bought skullgirls long ago but I haven't even played it, and after watching that comparison video, what the fuck kind of hentai shit did I buy!? And all the comments in this thread, holy shit. Maybe some of the devs grew up just a fucking tad, a smidge, and went "wow we put out some stupid shit back in the day, let's fucking fix that".

And all the people who complain about woke, wowzers, you guys need to refocus your energy into something that actually matters, like climate, police brutality, inequality or any of a thousand other worthy causes. Holy shit.

Lots of people seem to enjoy it, but to me it just looks like steam overlay is trying to become a window manager. I locked my steam to the december 2022 edition so I can continue to run -no-browser, the removal of this command in 2023 was super depressing :(
