Quoting: RafiLinuxLong loading on STEAM or GOG version? I've had no issues with loading.
Steam. At the Steam forums other Linux users are mentioning loading issues too.
Wait, the GOG version lacks the online mode?

Yeah it lacks an online mode for all platforms via of the GOG version. I personally don't mind since I don't do online much but I am doing it now due to the pandemic.

Quoting: ageresI've beaten the whole game, it works fine except for too long loading. I tried local co-op with two gamepads, it works too.

Long loading on STEAM or GOG version? I've had no issues with loading. Been playing with my wife and some of my kids. Going to try online via of Parsec on Saturday night with some friends.

Works via of Lutris also with the GOG version. Played up to level 4 with 3 characters and unlocked 1. Game is nice.

What is required to get up and running with Stadia for this? I do not own credit cards and I don't put my payment information online. Can I sign up with a gift card that some $ on it?

I'm currently playing:

* Hotline Miami 2 - STEAM

Loving it. It's hits all the right marks for me as a game. Top Down Shooter. Great music. Fast paced action. Interesting story. Right amount of challenge. Level editor.

* Jupiter Hell - GOG

Loving this one also. I was a big fan of DOOMRL also. Again it hits all the right check boxes for me. Top Down Shooter. Great music. Not fast action but still just as intense. Right amount of challenge. Lots of replay-ability.

* Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Collection - Steam

Big fan of the Alpha and 3rd Strike series. Been playing this one with my usual local and friends online due to quarantine.

* Counter Strike: Global Offensive - Steam

Trying to get into this one. I like almost everything about it except for how difficult it is to get LAN up and running. I have to say that so far I've had a good time playing with random strangers online but I stuck only to deathmatch and ppl generally don't talk much during that mode in almost any game and that helps the online play a lot. I've not tried any of the other modes online.

* Left 4 Dead 2 - Steam

I like this game but the online is horrible. I've played this a lot but when I try playing with strangers all kinds of toxic behavior is present. Playing with friends and family is a joy.

* AssaultCube

This is a family favorite and it seems to be on the menu when we don't want to play board games and get tired of fighting games. It's always fun.

Quoting: ixnariI've just finished DUSK.

I love this game. My family is currently playing it via of LAN for deathmatch but it seems like only 2 of us like it. Excellent experience.

As far as the loading, do you mean the DOS window thing? I think that is the only loading issue I have but I think it's on purpose to make the game feel older.

What have you been playing recently and what are your thoughts?

Jupiter Hell - GOG

Probably going to become my favorite game of all times. I spent Saturday mid-afternoon til dinner time playing this with my kids on our living room HTPC. I also have it setup on my laptop and bed room HTPC and I have clocked in 300+ hours in it. I love the music, action and difficulty of this gem. It keeps getting better and better which each update.

Fantasy Strike - Steam

Been going to locals every 2 weeks and this game has been growing a following. I made 8 new friends playing this.

Rezrog - GOG

I just started playing this one and made it to the 3rd dungeon. I like it a lot. It was a gift from a co-worker. She loved it and thought I should try it out. Really digging it.

Slipstream - GOG

My wife love this game. I love playing against her. It's super fun and easy to get into and very much reminds me of the early arcade racers from when we were kids.

As Puppygames reflect on the release of Basingstoke, they say it financially ruined them

I love this company. All of their games have been played in my home since they first came out on Humble Bundle. Titan Attacks! is one that I am always playing here and there when I am solo or traveling. PuppyGames was the first dev company that I added to my pateron after they gave out 2 games for free on itch. I do hope they go back to 2D game making as I think their art style is unique and lovely.

Valve making steps to address toxic behaviour on Counter-Strike: Global Offensive
7 February 2020 at 5:37 pm UTC

Quoting: Geppeto35There are two types of different unpleasantness: naughty behaviour (ex: two time in the last month I played a guy that killed me while team mate in last survivor; the guy that cry in his mic; guy with music in the mic, etc.) and cheaters.

At least if cheaters were put aside it would help this great game. Yesterday, I stopped to play after 4 different rounds I was in front of cheating people with no fun. Replay VERY helps and it should be used by full time moderators after reports.
The inventiveness of cheats is also incredible: the classical guy that only killed by head shoot in one bullet whatever the gun he had, the guy that can take 3 awp shots in a raw with only 80hp decreased (meaning that he can probably tweak his cheat? or with adding more armor? don't know how) -seen yesterday, the guy that can view all hidden people ...I don't know how also :D
This game is a hack hole for hackers XD

Yeah man. This is why I stick to games where I play only with people I know. Every so often I try playing modern games with the public and I regret it.
