Quoting: Darkdisorder78Yea sorry that doesn't work. It doesn't work in Linux outside of left for dead 2.

Nah. My brother is on Linux and Linux only and he only has Steam Controllers. He plays all of his games from CS:GO to Ballistic Overkill to L4D 2 with that controller. The only issue he had was that he wanted more violent vibrations and he fixed that with SC add-on.

I love this controller. I have it working for all of my games except FPS. I can not play any FPS with a controller. Tried and it does not work for me.

BTW - You can setup your Steam Controller to work with non-Steam games outside of Steam or even without Steam installed with this program - https://github.com/kozec/sc-controller

I've been enjoying this game since the middle of August. It was a great hit @ 2 of the BBQs that I ran @ my place and 2 of my cousins bought it and are in love with it. It's an awesome game.

Would there be any benefit in allowing users to post more then one machine? For example my machine listed is my main desktop but I am also on my gaming laptop about equal time.

Quoting: ArdjeI have it, but then I realized I need friends to play it with.
And the first 2 or 3 years it would not even start on my pc.
So I've taken a plunge and walked through it. And that's it.
The time has come that I can choose not to buy multiplayer-only games.

Yeah, I made that choice a few years back. Now, it's only local MP only. On occasion, I give a MP only game a shot and it's usually a disappointment.

Looks like GOG Galaxy won't come to Linux any time soon, as it's "not a priority"

Quoting: GuestAnother Steam-like client is the last thing I want. GOG just needs to improve their service by adding email notifications when a game is updated or you get an answer in the forum… And also RSS feeds for new Linux game releases and promotions.

Agreed. Itch.io does a great job as a client and with the updates via email of Linux games from the devs you follow.

I really wanted to like this game because I played the freeware mod for a good minute but in the end I removed this game from my library for the same reason I am about to do the same to 'Ballistic Overkill'

  • lag

  • team balance

Servers were wonky too often. And teams would stay lopside for so long that matches were lost 2 minutues into a map.

Quoting: RafiLinuxBioshock Infinite looks interesting but I have questions - The trailer shows the character shooting and also using 'powers' - Are the power usage optional? In other words, can I play and end the game using just weapons?

Yes, since powers cost you energy, which is not replenishing by itself, it serves just as another type of ammo.

However, don't expect much from Infinite, it is way worse then previous Bioshocks.

Never played any of them. I am on vacation and have a road trip coming up and I am out of single player games (I have completed all games on my backlog).
