Rocket League gets a big update called ‘Starbase ARC’, adds a lot of new free goodies

There was some map in Rocket labs that always made me crash. That arena is in casual now, so I wish they would take a look at that. I don't know which arena(s?) it is, because I crash before it loads in. Random crashes stopped happening to me a long time ago though, only happened in rocket labs list.

It's just a theory that it is arena related of course, but it kinda seems like it is.

You might want to avoid the Nvidia 375.20 driver, Nvidia recommend downgrading

Quoting: catskinsoxMaybe that option is somehow embedded in the newest driver, and if you have manually added it, maybe it is somehow causing a conflict and the performance issue?
If you click advanced in the display configuration you will see a check box that wasn't there in earlier drivers. It says "Force full composition pipeline". So it's basically on by default now.

Edit: Took them long enough...

X-Plane 11 system requirements revealed, needs plenty of RAM

Quoting: cRaZy-bisCuiTWhy would anyone want to play a gaming looking like it's been made 10 years ago? I never got why Flight Simulaters are looking that shitty. At least you could make a very nice and detailed looking airport, beautiful airplane models as well as volumetric effects for clouds, nice weather effects in general. Of course you can't make the landscape to detailed - you also don't have to.
My guess it that X-plane uses up more resources for physics calculations, so less is left over for graphics. The X-plane series is famed for its detailed and realistic physics, and I have even heard of hobbyists making 3d-models of their RC plane projects to test their designs aerodynamics in x-plane before building it in RL.

Oooh.

Linux overall market-share percentage falls on Steam in October

I don't quite get why they need to make a survey for hardware statistics? Steam keeps track of how many hours I play each game, how come it can't keep track of which compile I had to download to play? I mean, keeping track of that small piece of data is a helluva lot less intrusive than collecting the statistics of the amount of time played in specific games, but they have no compunction against collecting that by default...

This looks to be the same thing as the old game Endless forest. It wasn't so much a game as a virtual relaxation sim. It was awesome.

I uninstalled TF2 when they changed the matchmaking system. I take it the issues with that have been solved by now?
