You could give setuid a try. Make a shell script as root, and then: chmod u+s script.sh
You should be able to run it as a user with it's owner rights, which are root.
No go on my Arch system. I've also tried editing the sudoers config file with visudo and using sudo instead, but that still asks for a password :/
That workaround is echo (password) | sudo -S /usr/bin/scale.sh performance

So why did it take them so long to figure out that he went to work for another Dev team? The game has been out for a while now. If I was the owner of Trendy I would of just been like "eh whatever". Sounds like they are just hard for cash.

The only reason I backed this game was because they said a linux port was happening. Now I have a another game that I can't play. When the fuck are developers going to learn that if you want your game to be multi platform, don't use plugins and middle ware that only works on one or two OS's!!

Very good game. Ran beautifully, looked beautiful, great voice over work, hilarious, and hectic at times. Finished it in 3 hours. Had to uppercase the F on the data folder but after that it was running. No issues with my Nvidia gtx 980.

I just get constant crashes on Linux Mint 17.3 64bit. No idea why.
