I thought games are more compatible with Proton rather than Wine+DXVK. But it turns out the opposite is true. I just tried Batman: AK with Wine Staging 3.15 and DXVK 0.72, and it works! The performance isn't too good though, about 30-50 fps with drops. I had 60-80 on Windows with max graphics settings, twice better. Well, at least I don't have to deal with Windows anymore to play my favourite games, GTA V and B:AK. Thank you YoRHa-2B for this.

Wait, Batman: Arkham Knight works on Linux with DXVK? It didn't when I tried and is rated "Borked" at SPCR [External Link].

I think it doesn't matter and installing Wine isn't even necessary for using Proton. When you use winetricks (which is not a mandatory part of Wine), it changes some wineprefix which is separate from Wine installation any can later be used by any Wine installation in any WINEPATH. I don't know much about Wine though and can be wrong.

Quoting: GuestHere's the command I ended up having to use to get xact installed in Hellblad. If you have it in the default path then just replace hellblad id number with yours and of course your username. This didn't help either.
env WINEPREFIX="/home/ron/.steam/steam/steamapps/compatdata/245280/pfx"WINEPATH="/home/ron/.steam/steam/steamapps/common/Proton 3.7 Beta/dist/bin" winetricks xact

Quoting: TheRiddickInstall XACT into the SKSE prefix, also make sure your open files size is large enough.I tried to do that but unsuccessfully. I execute this:
WINEPREFIX=/2TB/Games/Linux/Steam/steamapps/compatdata/489830/pfx/ winetricks --force xactand get this:
...
Executing cabextract -q -d /2TB/Games/Linux/Steam/steamapps/compatdata/489830/pfx//dosdevices/c:/windows/syswow64 -L -F xactengine*.dll /2TB/Games/Linux/Steam/steamapps/compatdata/489830/pfx//dosdevices/c:/windows/temp/_xact/*.cab
