A Linux version of open-world RPG 'Seven: The Days Long Gone' is a realistic option

Seems very console-like controls? That usually puts me off as a PC gamer. Sure, having controller support is nice, but keyboard+mouse control is also great. I don't want to click in 3 different places to perform one action.

The big Albion Online 'Kay' update is live, it's also on sale

Quoting: marcelomendesI sometimes think in buy this, since Shroud of the Avatar is unplayable and buggy. But the PVP oriented aspect makes me think twice. I'm really happy playing GW2, even if not native. Still waiting for THE MMO of Linux world. For now I'll stick with GW2.
I'm in the same boat here. Tried Shroud of Avatar but it's still too damn buggy. Playing Elders of Scrolls Online now but there are bugs still under Wine, and I have to boot in Windows to play it (it's the only game there). No open-world Linux MMO is decent today. I tried Albion but the graphics and mechanics just did not suit me. Only thing that reliably works under Wine is World of Warcraft.

Interesting, but not my cup of tea. I'm more into POE/Tyrrany type games than this.

I got an email from Steam last week saying that I will be paying with Kuwaiti Dinar soon. Does that mean no fees for currency exchange to dollars?

JASEM, an 'insanely hard' twin-stick shooter could see Linux support, needs testers

Don't expect everyone to know (or care) about Linux. Just a few days ago, I needed a developer to test of his products on Linux. I sent him a link to an Ubuntu VM that he downloaded and ran on VirtualBox. Testing was done and everyone is happy. You have to make it easy for developers to take the first baby steps at least.

Amazon Lumberyard game engine is no longer going to support Linux, not enough demand

Do you think Android would become mainstream if users had to download and install it on their phones? Absolutely not. The same thing applies to Linux gaming. Unless average Joe can walk in a store and buy something preloaded with Linux, we're always going to be a niche.

Nevertheless, with major engines supporting Linux, it becomes easier for developers to make it available for the platform with little effort, and this is the reason we have 2000+ titles already.

The Talos Principle VR will have Linux support

I really want to try VR on Linux, but then read about all the bugs and technical hurdles still, it seems like it's still in beta and in big flux. On the other hand, I am waiting for improvements to the existing headsets and read that HTC Vive 2 is coming out "soonish" maybe late 2017.

Quoting: iiariAnyone have a direct email contact? Maybe we need to start writing them...
They said customers, no some random fanboys on the Internet. I wish they support Linux fully as well, but unless actual customers, or at least one really important customer, ask them for it, it's not going to happen.

EVERSPACE expansion 'Encounters' announced, sounds like it's going to be awesome

It's such a beautiful game but be WARNED you will spend SO much time in it unaware! I clocked more than 120 hours already and it didn't feel like it! While this game is not officially released for Linux, it runs much better than some "officially" supported games. Truly amazing work!
